The 18 cylinder engine has 2 rows of 9 cylinders. 1" bore X 1 ¼ stroke.

- It has a dry sump oiling system with scavenge pump.
- It uses a electronic ignition system with Hall effect sensors developed by S/S Machine.
All aluminum parts were anodized green. All other material is Stainless Steel
This engine was machined from solid bar stock. No castings were used. The only parts not fabricated or machined were the spark plugs, propeller, carburetor and ignition system circuit boards.
The full sized version of this type of 18 cylinder engine was common on the Vought Corsair and the Grumman Hellcat aircraft.
